SKATEBOARDS As a result of recent incidents Ð skateboards are no longer allowed on campus. Students are not allowed to bring skateboards to school for any reason, including to store them in the office. Just donÕt bring them.

ATTENTION ALL DANCERS VPA is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for the coming school year. In lieu of Showchoir, Advanced Dance will be offered. This class will offer expanded performance opportunities, while learning advanced rhythms and combinations, expression, and artistry. Interested students - please see Miss Borg for more information.

LOST AND FOUND A beautiful ring has been found in the girl's restroom next to the junior high office. If this ring belongs to you, please come to the office to describe it and claim it!

SPEECHES AND ELECTIONS This Friday, May 9, will be the day for Student Council speeches and elections. The speeches will take place during a special assembly at 12:55 pm.

VPA AUDITIONS If you want to be in one of next yearÕs junior high or high school jazz bands, vocal ensembles, the worship band, the symphonic or marching band, or strings, please sign up for an audition now! Auditions will be held the week of May 19, so sign up soon to get the time slot of your choice. Sign up sheets are posted on the doors of the music rooms and the theatre department office. You should also pick up an audition packet from the jazz, vocal, or instrumental music office. More information is posted on the Conservatory website at www.valleychristianconservatory.org

CLOTHES Students, as long as you are on campus, you must wear all your clothes right side out. No exceptions.

AFTER SCHOOL REMINDER As you already know, students may only be in the following areas between 3:05 and the time they are to be picked up: in front of the football stadium, in front of the soccer field, at the wooden benches, on the grass area by the flagpoles, or in the library. All other areas are off limits to junior high students.

RAGING WATERS UPDATE Raging Waters WILL ALLOW students to wear a t-shirt over their two-piece swim suit. If students do not have a one-piece swim suit, they may wear an appropriate two-piece swim suit with a dark colored t-shirt over it. Do not wear a white t-shirt. Also, the t-shirt that you wear must be within VCJH dress code. Raging Waters does not allow any metal on the suits that can damage their slides. Permission slips are due to the office by Friday, May 9.
